Diet Exercise Habits

WeightJournal – October 2, 2015 – Puppy sighting!

In this week’s video – recorded live from one of our local parks – I babble about how our bodies tend to try and get rid of weight if we stay out of their way. I think I probably have talked or written about this before, but it keeps coming to mind. Once a person is 50+ lbs overweight, our bodies actively start trying to lose some of that weight/fat. We aren’t meant to be that obese, and our bodies try to find a balance. If we reduce the amount of food we take in by a couple hundred calories, our weight will melt off. It’s almost like magic.

Tracking helps so much with this! Knowing how much you normally eat makes it easier to find something to trim out of what you normally eat. Knowing that can make all the difference, and allows you to stop run-away eating, too!

Make sure you watch ’til the end of the video, so you can see how big our puppy Myles is now!

WeightJournal, September 16, 2015 – kicked its ass!!!

Exciting news this week, as I am kicking diabetes’s ass (hoepfully I’m not jinxing myself by saying that). I also rejoined WeightWatchers in-person meetings (I’ve been doing the internet-only option so far) and I reclaim a goal. All that and more!
