March 18, 2006 – Holding steady

Weight: 332
Difference from last entry: 0

Well, I’m the heaviest that I’ve ever been in my life. But i have been able to catch ahold of myself and stop the runaway naughtiness I was going through on my last update. I’m not being good, mind you, but I’m at least being accountable for what I eat. And that is a big step up.

I haven’t actually been avoiding this journal. I just haven’t had time to write in it! Work has been insanely busy. To the point that all of the little tasks I’d normally take care of during the day have to wait ’til I get home. And by the time I work my way through all of those, I don’t have time to write here. I’m hoping things even out sometime soon. And I’m also trying to find time to dedicate to working on this journal. So hopefully updates will come more frequently and regularly.

Oh, the treadmill is working fantastically. As long as I don’t try watching a horrible movie while walking, like, say, Doom. 🙂

  1. Michael, I will avoid Doom. While being in the 330’s is the heaviest you have ever been it is the lowest I have been in 4 years. I finally dropped out of the 340s this weekend. I really think the treadmill and the recommitment to journal more often will help you to start to get those numbers down. Let’s both shoot to be under 300 before the summers over. Good Luck.

  2. I haven’t checked out your blog for aquite some time. I’m impressed that you’ve continued your blog even though you’ve apparently gained weight. I also blog whether I’m regaining or getting rid of the regain. I’m considering getting an eliptical cross trainer. Hopefully, by the next time I swing by, you’ll have gotten rid of bunches of pounds.

  3. I always end up coming back and writing. When I’m having down times, more weeks pass between journal entries. But I’ve been working on this journal for almost 10 years now, and am not going to give it up anytime soon. 🙂
