Okay, I will never, ever doubt the importance of exercise to a weight-loss program again. I had a horrible week eating, mainly due to Halloween candy. But I still managed to lose half a pound this week. And that is all due to exercise. Because, while I wasn’t eating healthy, I was doing a great job with exercise. Out of the seven-day week, I did some type of exercise six of those days. And, as I mentioned here, I added in some extra exercise time on one of those days to make up for the day that I missed.
And it shows. Not just in my weight, but in the size of my body, too. I’ve been taking measurements for the past month, and I’ve trimmed 2″ of my waist and about an inch from my chest. My body is toning up and getting rid of some of this extra fat. All thanks to the exercise I’m doing.
The cool thing is that I don’t even have to force myself to go anymore. I want to go to the rec center. I want to walk the three-quarters mile to Subway for lunch. I make time in my hectic schedule to work the exercise in. And this is a very, very good thing.
One bit of site news: I think I have the new look and feel down. There will be some more changes coming up in the near future, but nothing drastic. This is going to be the way that WeightJournal.com looks for quite a while. I hope you like it!
