Monthly update!

Aren’t summer months supposed to be stress-free? This summer hasn’t been for me so far. Of course, we brought this on ourselves. Erin and I sold our old house, bought a new house, and have moved into the new house over the past month. It’s been a hectic and stressful time.

I honestly do not know if my weight reflects this or not. I haven’t been around a scale for over a month, and have no idea what my weight reads. If I had to guess, I’d guess I am staying around the same weight as my last weigh-in (325). This is mostly due to the amount of activity I’ve had to do over the past few weeks. Packing boxes, moving boxes, unpacking boxes, carrying things up and down stairs, mowing and fertilizing lawns, it all adds up. I’ve been more active since the third week of June than I’ve been the rest of the year.

I plan on getting back into a workout routine soon. The town that Erin and I moved to provides free access to the city rec centers, so I can go work out at any time for free. As soon as we get everything unpacked and settled, I’ll start working out again.

In the mean time, I am trying to find firm way to keep my eating in control. I think I am going to use WeightWatchers points diaries. These seem to provide a good way of documenting everything that one eats throughout the day, and are compact enough to carry around everywhere.
