Weigh-in for July 15, 2007

Current weight: 326
Difference from last entry: +2.5
Difference from 2007 starting weight (335.5): -9.5

Well, I survived vacation season. Sorta. I gained back a couple of pounds, but all in all, I don’t think I did too horribly. I am still down quite a bit from earlier this year. And while my motivation is waning slightly, I am not at a panic point yet. I might gain another pound or so this week, but I am working at getting my eating back under control. Among other things.

I tend to have major problems whenever something breaks my concentration. I had started doing pretty well in June, but then a couple of vacations threw me off track. Or, more precisely, gave me an excuse to go off-track. That’s probably the more appropriate way to put things. I am prone to making excuses. And allowing myself off the hook. Ayup, that’s me.

So there are two things I was doing before vaca that I need to get back to: exercising a few times a week, and keeping a food journal. That’s my goal for the upcoming week.

    Keeping the motivation up is Major. I hope you’ll speedily get in going again. It’s kind of like a muscle. It gets flabby with disuse as I, unfortunately, know all to well.
