Here’s something that should come as no surprise to anyone: a study proves that the Human Body Is Designed To Resist Attempts To Lose Weight:
Dr Neil King, from the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation (IHBI), said our bodies have strong mechanisms to defend attempts to lose weight but very weak mechanisms to prevent weight gain.
Anyone who has tried to lose weight has noticed that it’s a lot easier to gain than to lose. It’s a surprisingly unfair predicament that normally seems to be completely psychosomatic. It is good to know that this isn’t just my imagination, but it is biological. It is harder to lose than to gain.
