Has another month really gotten by me? I’ve gotta tell you, this preparing for a weding thing makes it really hard to keep track of time! These next few months are going to fly be in a blink of an eye. I’ll try to write as often as I can. But please, forgive me for numerous disruptions in service. 🙂

So my weight continues to show an overall downward progression. However, it hasn’t been all down. I am doing a little bit of yo-yoing. I had been down around 281, then bounced back up again. I am seeing some amazing differences in my will power, not just from week-to-week, but from day-to-day! One day, I’ll have enough will power to share with a couple of other people. Other times, all I can think of is having a couple of donuts and a carton of chocolate milk. I know that this is normal behavior for someone who has had weight problems as long as I have. But it is still a little unnerving. It’s hard to behave consistently when my desires are so inconsistent. I really need to figure out a way to combat that.

I believe in giving credit for small accomplishments, so I guess I have to give myself some credit. As my fiancee pointed out to me, I am doing very well with meals. While my choice of foods hasn’t been wonderful recently, I am doing well at making myself stop eating when I am full. I am getting beyond the need to eat all the food that I have been served. And that is a big accomplishment. I think a lot of us who are overweight were taught to always clean our plates as children. That’s a hard philosophy to break out of. So I will give myself credit for that.
